Art. 32.— Toda persona que llegue del extranjero con su arma de fuego y las municiones y fulminantes correspondientes a ella sin tener la licencia, los depositará, mediante recibo por escrito, en poder del Colector de Aduanas del puerto de entrada, o del Oficial de Aduana del puesto de entrada, o del Oficial de Aduana del puesto de entrada fronterizo, o del Oficial de Aduana en servicio en el aeródromo de llegada, quien las entregará, también mediante recibo para su depósito devolviéndosele al dueño cuando obtenga la licencia correcta o cuando salga del territorio nacional. Párrafo I. Si dicha persona desea obtener licencia para portar dicha arma, deberá hacer una solicitud por escrito en la misma forma, por los mismos trámites y requisitos y condiciones que están prescritos en esta Ley. Párrafo II.— Si no desea ninguna licencia o ésta no se concediere, el arma quedará bajo custodia del Ejercito Nacional hasta que se saque del territorio nacional o se disponga de ella de otro modo, de conformidad con esta Ley.

Cuando se evalua una transferencia o nuevo tramite, si el solicitante tiene denuncia o caso de violacion por violencia de genero o violencia intrafamiliar, no es autorizado su tramite. En caso de que la procuraduria general de la republica/depto de genero detecte el caso primero, solicita al mip la no autorizacion de tramites respecto a armas de fuego o cancelacion
